Deleting a Policy

You can delete a policy that has not been attached to a workflow if your user role has Policy View, Policy Author, and Control Manage permissions. When you have sufficient permissions, you can delete a policy irrespective of the owner who created the policy.

To delete a policy:

  1. In the RiskVision, go to Content > Policies. The Policies page is displayed.
  2. Use either of the following procedures given below:
    • Procedure 1
      1. Under the Organization Content tree, expand Policies, and locate and select the policy.
      2. Click Actions drop-down list and select Delete.
    • Procedure 2

      1. Under the Organization Content tree, expand Policies, and select the group or content pack containing the policy. The group or content pack details are displayed on the right-hand side.
      2. Use one of the following delete
        • Check the box associated with the policy you want to delete and click Delete.
        • Check the box associated with the policy you want to delete and select Delete in the More actions drop-down list.

    The policy is deleted.
