Metadata is used by SAML to ensure a secure connection with the service provider. In order to use the connector, a metadata file must be obtained using the following steps.
To obtain the Shibboleth metadata file:
Start the Apache server.
Enter the URL: https://<ShibbolethServerHostName>/Shibboleth.sso/Metadata.
Select File > Save As to save the file.
